Surface treatment types

Environment friendly oils
The wood and oil provide the surface with sufficient hardness. The matt surface puts stress on the timber character. The company MAGNUM Parket uses natural (colourless) oil or white oil Trip Trap.

Special acrylic paint
Akzo Nobel, Becker Acroma, Ickro Didone, without solvents and formaldehyde. The paint is applied in five coats to the upper layer, always hardened by UV radiation. This procedure provides the surface with hardness as well as resistance to scratches. The floor cleaning is easy, it is hygienic and it keeps the characteristics of wood. The varnishing emphasises the timber structure. It guarantees high resistance to wear and tear and long-time service life of the floor.

White lacquer
A new type of varnish for selected wood species. At the present time, white lacquer is being developed and tested for three-layer timber floors. The white lacquer is designed mainly for oak and ash timber.

Special surface treatment MagShield
MagShieldThis is the latest developed technology of lacquering - so called nano-technology being new in the timber floor market. The fourth and fifth layer of varnish is completed with so called nano-elements characterized by significant hardness despite their low weight. After application of the lacquer, the elements rise to the surface and improve the parquet surface resistance. Taber tests confirm an almost double resistance to scratching compared to standard UV-cured lacquer. The surface is both abrasion and micro-scratch resistant and be easily refinished.
